Meet the Team

Connor James Salon has been a journey of discovery for me. I wanted a place that combined my love of music, specifically classic rock, creating beautiful hair and my love of plants. 

For my co-workers: 

I wanted to create a space where service providers could learn to build their own business and become financially stable, while still working in a team environment. We should help build other women up and help them succeed!

I have loved playing with hair for as long as I can remember. I attended the Cosmetology Program at Century College while in high school before changing gears and working as a portfolio bookkeeper and supervisor for many years. After a life changing event in 2014, I realized life was way too short not to do what makes me happy and back to school I went. In 2015 I received my Cosmetology license from Regency Beauty School, and I haven't looked back. I have continued my training with some of the best stylists in the business traveling all over the US for classes. 

In my free time you can find me at home with my family (Brett, Leighton & Lennon), relaxing by the pool, attempting to keep my plants alive, going to concerts, reading a good book or on the motorcycle. 

I love creating lived in hair color, adding volume and length with extensions (tape in, hand-tied and fusion) and creating fun, modern shags. I also specialize in quick color appointments. My goal for most color appointments is to have you in and out in a hour and a half.

I graduated from La James Cosmetology School in 2009. I have been specializing in cutting hair since my graduation from La James. As a dedicated hair stylist with 13 years of experience, I have honed my craft to create beautiful and tailored haircuts that perfectly complement your style.

 Hi! I’m Kathy and I am so excited to be here at Connor James Salon. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 1993, completed the Rocco Altobelli Advanced Training Program for Chemical Technicians in 1994 and have been coloring hair ever since. I also specialize in tape in extensions and the new modern perming techniques. When I’m not doing hair, I love to watch my 10-year-old son play hockey and baseball. In the summer I love to have family time with my four older step kids at our cabin up north!  

Hi, I'm Sabrinna and I have been a hairdresser for 16 years!!! I am a specialist in cutting and styling. I have been focused on these since graduating from the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. I have completed the advanced training at Rocco Altobelli, the Moroccan Oil Training Academy in NYC and have taken many classes and courses to keep up, fine tune and elevate my skills as a specialized stylist. I love to work with texture, whether that be existing or something you wish to have more of. Curls, bobs and clipper cuts are my favorite, but I love helping my clients with long hair maintain and revive with simple trims. I book on the half hour for all of my haircuts and that includes a blowout. If additional heat styling is desired, please book accordingly. I try to keep my hours convenient for my clients with evening and Saturday availability as well as early morning. I am very excited to continue my work at Connor James Salon and I thank my loyal clients that have always supported my passion. I look forward to meeting new clients! 

I've been doing my passion ever since I graduated Empire Beauty School in 2010. Some of my specialized services include Blonding, Foilayage, Balayage, long haired cuts, and extensions. Listening to create your perfect outcome is what I strive to do for my clients. With almost 14 years of connecting with people, and some becoming like family, I am so excited to start this new venture with the wonderful girls of Connor James and see some new faces in my chair! 

 Hi I’m Lisa and I am new to Connor James Salon. I joined the beauty industry in 2006 graduating from Regency Beauty Institute. I take pride in making each customer feel special and listen to what they need to achieve the look they want.
I am strong in coloring and cutting and I love to educate myself with new trends in all areas of my profession. I enjoy doing balayage and lived in blondes, both tape in and hand tied extensions as well. When I’m not busy in the salon you find me spending time with my two daughters.

With 13 years of experience, Meekala brings a wealth of expertise to her work, specializing in cut, color, blonding, balayage, and extensions. Originally from Alaska, she relocated to the area in 2022 and now calls White Bear Lake home, where she lives with her boyfriend Zack and their four boys. Meekala's dedication to her craft is matched only by her commitment to providing exceptional service to each of her clients. She strives to create personalized looks that enhance natural beauty and leave a lasting impression.

Briana is a talented and passionate hair artist specializing in dimensional hair color, hair shaping, styling, lashes and brows, extensions and specializing in bridal hair and makeup. With 14 years of experience in the industry, she is known for personally connecting and conducting expert service experiences for her clients as a key strength . Recently relocating to Lino Lakes, Briana is excited to bring her skills and creativity to the new community! If Briana is not behind the chair you can find her enjoying nature, exercising, spending time with her three daughters and husband, cooking nutritious meals and networking in the community! 

 Hi! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 12 years specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Cupping, Reflexology and Reiki 1. I was recently certified in Therapeutic Thai Massage and will soon be adding this to my services.

I have worked in the area throughout my career and I'm excited to venture out independently.

My work has been very healing for myself and the people I have had the pleasure of working with. I love what I do for a living and together we can customize a wellness plan that fits your wants and needs.

Hi, my name is Tara, and I am so excited to bring Skin Deep Aesthetics to Connor James Salon.  I am a licensed Advanced Practice Esthetician. I received my degree at St. Paul College in 2018 and have been working as a Medical Esthetician and a Certified Laser Technician for the past 5 years.  I am passionate about my career and I'm always furthering my education by keeping up with what is best for my clients.  

Since my career in aesthetics has begun, I have personalized facial treatments to further enhance my client's natural glow.  Through medical grade skincare and result - driven facials, I believe together we can reach your skins full potential.

Cathy lives in Hugo with her husband and pets and is a very proud mother and grandmother of two. 

After 39 years in dentistry she has decided on a new career with us. Cathy loves people and caring for them!

Hi! I'm Cassie, a mom of four who loves to indulge in thriller and rom com novels. I find solace in listening to murder podcasts and watching my go-to shows on Netflix - murder documentaries. If you don't watch RHOSLC, know of Scandoval, I'll convince you to watch and find out. Also, I am self-proclaimed, unlicensed pro-bono, private investigator.  If you need info about anyone/anything, I am your girl!
