Christina - Founder + Stylist
Connor James Salon has been a journey of discovery and heart. I set out to create a space that blends my passions—classic rock, beautiful hair, and the calming energy of plants. But more than that, I wanted to build something meaningful for others too—a space where beauty professionals could grow confident in their craft, build financial stability, and support each other along the way. Empowered women empower women, and I believe in lifting each other up.
My love for hair started early, but my path wasn’t linear. I enrolled in the Cosmetology Program at Century College during high school, but life took a detour and I spent several years working as a portfolio bookkeeper and supervisor. After a life-changing event in 2014, I realized how short life truly is—and I made the decision to follow what made me happiest. I earned my Cosmetology license from Regency Beauty School in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. I've trained with some of the top educators in the industry and have traveled across the U.S. to continue growing as a stylist.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me at home with my family—Brett, Leighton, and Lennon—lounging by the pool, catching a concert, riding motorcycles, reading thrillers, or trying to keep my plant collection thriving.
I specialize in fine, thin hair; lived-in color; volume and length with extensions (tape-in, hand-tied, and fusion); and modern, low-maintenance shags. I also offer quick color appointments designed to have you in and out in about 90 minutes—perfect for clients on the go.

Renee - Stylist
Hi! I’m a passionate and dedicated hairstylist with over 15 years of experience specializing in precision haircuts. I graduated from La’ James Cosmetology School in 2009 and have been honing my craft ever since. Whether you’re looking for a timeless bob, a chic pixie, or a bold asymmetrical cut, I have the expertise and creativity to bring your vision to life.
My journey in the world of hair began with a dream: to help every client feel confident, beautiful, and uniquely themselves. I stay current with the latest cutting techniques and industry trends through ongoing education, ensuring that every cut I deliver is fresh, flattering, and fashion-forward.
I believe that great hair starts with great communication. That’s why I take the time to truly listen to your needs and offer personalized advice to help you achieve your perfect look. When you sit in my chair, it’s more than just a haircut—it’s a personalized experience designed to leave you feeling fabulous and empowered.
When I’m not behind the chair, I love spending time with my husband Justin, our two amazing kids—Chloe and Jaxson—and our playful Goldendoodle, Hatty (you may see her around the salon from time to time). We’re big Minnesota Wild fans, and with Chloe playing hockey year-round, we spend a lot of time at the rink cheering her on!

Kathy - Color & Chemical Specialist
Hi! I’m Kathy and I am so excited to be here at Connor James Salon. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 1993, completed the Rocco Altobelli Advanced Training Program for Chemical Technicians in 1994 and have been coloring hair ever since. I also specialize in tape in extensions and the new modern perming techniques. When I’m not doing hair, I love to watch my 10-year-old son play hockey and baseball. In the summer I love to have family time with my four older step kids at our cabin up north!
Sabrinna - Stylist
Although I’ve truly been cutting hair my entire life, I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 17 years—and I still love it just as much as day one. I’m a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, and since the start of my career, I’ve been drawn to the artistry of cutting and styling. Throughout the years, I’ve continued to grow through advanced training at Rocco Altobelli and the Moroccan Oil Academy in New York, as well as assisting with stage and editorial work.
I love all haircuts and styles, but if I had to choose favorites, I’d say men’s cuts, curly hair, and bobs are my sweet spot. I also offer ear piercing as part of my services. My appointments are designed with real life in mind—I offer convenient availability for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. I’m also mindful of your time, so while my services are efficiently timed, they’re never rushed. My goal is to give you a great experience and a great result—without taking up your whole day.
Creating is what I love—but connecting is what I live for. My chair is a place where you’re encouraged to look the way you want and feel free to talk about whatever’s on your mind. I stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques and genuinely love taking new classes—especially if they include a little travel adventure.
I’m blessed that my work days never really feel like work. Being a cosmetologist has been one of the biggest gifts in my life, and it’s an honor to show up every day as a "day maker" for my clients. Whether you're a longtime guest or someone I’ve yet to meet, I can’t wait to connect and create something beautiful with you.
When I’m not at the salon, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids who light up my world. I’m an aspiring homesteader, an avid thrifter, and a lover of all things eclectic and soulful.

**Please note:** Ear piercing is not a regulated service in the state of Minnesota. I pierce using sterilized, brand-new ear piercing devices—never needles. Piercing is for earlobes only. Children must be at least 3 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Michelle - Stylist
I've been doing my passion ever since I graduated Empire Beauty School in 2010. Some of my specialized services include Blonding, Foilayage, Balayage, long haired cuts, and extensions. Listening to create your perfect outcome is what I strive to do for my clients. With almost 14 years of connecting with people, and some becoming like family, I am so excited to start this new venture with the wonderful girls of Connor James and see some new faces in my chair!
Lisa - Stylist
Hi I’m Lisa and I am new to Connor James Salon. I joined the beauty industry in 2006 graduating from Regency Beauty Institute. I take pride in making each customer feel special and listen to what they need to achieve the look they want.
I am strong in coloring and cutting and I love to educate myself with new trends in all areas of my profession. I enjoy doing balayage and lived in blondes, both tape in and hand tied extensions as well. When I’m not busy in the salon you find me spending time with my two daughters.
Briana - Stylist
Briana is a talented and passionate hair artist specializing in dimensional hair color, hair shaping, styling, lashes and brows, extensions and specializing in bridal hair and makeup. With 14 years of experience in the industry, she is known for personally connecting and conducting expert service experiences for her clients as a key strength . Recently relocating to Lino Lakes, Briana is excited to bring her skills and creativity to the new community! If Briana is not behind the chair you can find her enjoying nature, exercising, spending time with her three daughters and husband, cooking nutritious meals and networking in the community!
Katie - Stylist
Hi! I’m Katie. I graduated cosmetology school in 2022 and have been loving all things hair! I take pride in making everyone feel seen and heard when they are in my chair! I love all things color, foils, haircuts, and extensions. When i’m not behind the chair you can probably find me with my dog or at the lake with my friends!
Bella - Stylist

Hi! I’m Bella I will be graduating cosmetology school this August. Through my journey I learned being a hairstylist is more than just a job, it's a passion that fuels my creativity every day. I love being able to transform someone's look and, in turn, their confidence. There's something incredibly rewarding about connecting with people on a personal level, understanding their vision, and bringing it to life through their hair. Seeing the joy and satisfaction on a client's face after they see their new style is what makes all the hard work worthwhile. It's not just about cutting and coloring; it's about making people feel beautiful and empowered.
For now I will be in the salon training and learning new techniques and perfecting my skills! Can’t wait to see you in my chair!
Jodi - Massage Therapist
Hi! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 12 years specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Cupping, Reflexology and Reiki 1. I was recently certified in Therapeutic Thai Massage and will soon be adding this to my services.
I have worked in the area throughout my career and I'm excited to venture out independently.
My work has been very healing for myself and the people I have had the pleasure of working with. I love what I do for a living and together we can customize a wellness plan that fits your wants and needs.

Hi, my name is Tara, and I am so excited to bring Skin Deep Aesthetics to Connor James Salon. I am a licensed Advanced Practice Esthetician. I received my degree at St. Paul College in 2018 and have been working as a Medical Esthetician and a Certified Laser Technician for the past 5 years. I am passionate about my career and I'm always furthering my education by keeping up with what is best for my clients.
Since my career in aesthetics has begun, I have personalized facial treatments to further enhance my client's natural glow. Through medical grade skincare and result - driven facials, I believe together we can reach your skins full potential.
I specialize in Micro-needling with SkinPen, VI Peels, Chemical Peels, HydraFacial's, dermaplaning, waxing, and custom facials for all skin types.

Cathy is the heart of Connor James Salon—our resident “salon mom” who keeps everything clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes. After 39 years in dentistry, she made a career shift and we’re so lucky she chose us. Her love for people and caring nature shines through in everything she does.
Cathy lives in Hugo with her husband and their beloved pets, and she’s a proud mother and grandmother of two. When she’s not brightening up the salon, you can find her reading, gardening, or spending time with her family.
Cassie - guest services coordinator
Hi! I'm Cassie, a mom of four who loves to indulge in thriller and rom com novels. I find solace in listening to murder podcasts and watching my go-to shows on Netflix - murder documentaries. If you don't watch RHOSLC, know of Scandoval, I'll convince you to watch and find out. Also, I am self-proclaimed, unlicensed pro-bono, private investigator. If you need info about anyone/anything, I am your girl!

She’s not only incredibly hardworking and detail-oriented, but she also brings a fun, lighthearted energy to the front desk that makes both our team and clients feel right at home. Whether she’s juggling appointments or making someone laugh on a busy day, Teresa is truly an irreplaceable part of our salon family.
mcKenna - Guest service coordinator
McKenna is the newest face at our front desk, and we’re so lucky to have her! She’s currently pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Juvenile Justice, and her passion for helping others shines through in everything she does. With a warm smile and a heart for people, McKenna is here to make your salon experience smooth, welcoming, and stress-free.
Hatty - Salon Greeter + Certified Snuggle Expert
Hi There! I'm Hatty, a 1-year-old Goldendoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for people! You'll find me at the salon giving out tail wags, snuggles and extra comfort to everyone who walks through the door. I love getting pets, being pampered and making our guests feel relaxed and loved.
Whether you're here for a haircut or a little self-care time, I'm here to brighten your day - with a wag, a cuddle or a friendly "woof-woof!"
