Christina - Founder + Stylist
Connor James Salon has been a journey of discovery and heart. I set out to create a space that blends my passions—classic rock, beautiful hair, and the calming energy of plants. But more than that, I wanted to build something meaningful for others too—a space where beauty professionals could grow confident in their craft, build financial stability, and support each other along the way. Empowered women empower women, and I believe in lifting each other up.
My love for hair started early, but my path wasn’t linear. I enrolled in the Cosmetology Program at Century College during high school, but life took a detour and I spent several years working as a portfolio bookkeeper and supervisor. After a life-changing event in 2014, I realized how short life truly is—and I made the decision to follow what made me happiest. I earned my Cosmetology license from Regency Beauty School in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. I've trained with some of the top educators in the industry and have traveled across the U.S. to continue growing as a stylist.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me at home with my family—Brett, Leighton, and Lennon—lounging by the pool, catching a concert, riding motorcycles, reading thrillers, or trying to keep my plant collection thriving.
I specialize in fine, thin hair; lived-in color; volume and length with extensions (tape-in, hand-tied, and fusion); and modern, low-maintenance shags. I also offer quick color appointments designed to have you in and out in about 90 minutes—perfect for clients on the go.

Katie - Stylist
Hi! I’m Katie. I graduated from cosmetology school in 2022, and ever since, I’ve truly fallen in love with the art and creativity behind doing hair. I’m passionate about creating looks that not only enhance your features but also fit your lifestyle and make you feel confident long after you leave the salon.
One of the most important things to me is making sure every guest feels seen, heard, and completely comfortable in my chair. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and work together to create a look that feels like you. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a full transformation, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
I especially love working with color, foils, dimensional blonding, haircuts, and extensions. I enjoy customizing each service to bring out depth, brightness, and movement while maintaining the health and integrity of your hair.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me spending time with my dog or enjoying lake days with friends—especially in the summer. I love building genuine connections with my clients and creating an experience that feels just as good as the results.

Bella - Stylist
Bella joined the beauty industry in August of 2025 and has been growing her passion ever since. She chose Connor James Salon for its welcoming, family-like environment and the convenience of being close to home. Quckly finding a place where she could both learn and thrive.
She loves all things color, with a special passion for blonding. Whether it’s brightening, dimensional color or creating seamless blends, Bella enjoys bringing her clients’ vision to life. She also offers cuts and extensions, making her a well-rounded stylist ready to take on a variety of looks.
Outside of the salon, Bella is a proud dog mom to her 3-month old teacup Maltese and loves spending time with friends and family. YOu can often find her cheering on her siblings at hockey games or focusing on her personal growth and faith.
Bella is all about creating beautiful results while making every client feel comfortable, confident and cared for in her chair.
Sophia V - Stylist
Hi! I’m Sophia! I’ve been doing hair for about 2 years, and I truly love what I do. One of my favorite parts of being a stylist is getting to meet new people and build genuine, lasting relationships with my clients. I’m naturally outgoing, fun, and caring, and I want everyone who sits in my chair to feel welcomed, comfortable, and like they’re catching up with a friend.
I love bringing my clients’ visions to life and creating looks that make them feel beautiful and confident. Whether you’re looking for a fresh new style or simply some self-care and a confidence boost, I’m passionate about making sure you leave my chair with a smile.
For me, being a hairstylist is about so much more than just doing hair. I love creating an experience where my clients feel heard, cared for, and excited about their hair. Building connections and watching my clients leave feeling their absolute best is what makes this career so special to me.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually spending time with my friends and family, spending time outside, and enjoying life. I’m so excited to continue growing as a stylist, meet new faces, and welcome you into my chair!
Tess - Stylist
Hi, I’m Tess! 🤍 I am from Forest Lake and recently graduated from cosmetology school. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be part of the beauty industry, and I have a passion for creating beautiful hair colors and styles that are customized to each client and their individual goals.
My favorite services to do are anything BLONDE!!! I’m so excited to continue growing my skills behind the chair, meet new clients, and help everyone leave the salon feeling confident and beautiful!
Renee - Independent Stylist
Hi! I’m a passionate and dedicated hairstylist with over 15 years of experience specializing in precision haircuts. I graduated from La’ James Cosmetology School in 2009 and have been honing my craft ever since. Whether you’re looking for a timeless bob, a chic pixie, or a bold asymmetrical cut, I have the expertise and creativity to bring your vision to life.
My journey in the world of hair began with a dream: to help every client feel confident, beautiful, and uniquely themselves. I stay current with the latest cutting techniques and industry trends through ongoing education, ensuring that every cut I deliver is fresh, flattering, and fashion-forward.
I believe that great hair starts with great communication. That’s why I take the time to truly listen to your needs and offer personalized advice to help you achieve your perfect look. When you sit in my chair, it’s more than just a haircut—it’s a personalized experience designed to leave you feeling fabulous and empowered.
When I’m not behind the chair, I love spending time with my husband Justin, our two amazing kids—Chloe and Jaxson—and our playful Goldendoodle, Hatty (you may see her around the salon from time to time). We’re big Minnesota Wild fans, and with Chloe playing hockey year-round, we spend a lot of time at the rink cheering her on!

Kathy -Independent Color & Chemical Specialist
Hi! I’m Kathy and I am so excited to be here at Connor James Salon. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 1993, completed the Rocco Altobelli Advanced Training Program for Chemical Technicians in 1994 and have been coloring hair ever since. I also specialize in tape in extensions and the new modern perming techniques. When I’m not doing hair, I love to watch my 10-year-old son play hockey and baseball. In the summer I love to have family time with my four older step kids at our cabin up north!
Lisa - Independent Stylist
Hi I’m Lisa and I am new to Connor James Salon. I joined the beauty industry in 2006 graduating from Regency Beauty Institute. I take pride in making each customer feel special and listen to what they need to achieve the look they want.
I am strong in coloring and cutting and I love to educate myself with new trends in all areas of my profession. I enjoy doing balayage and lived in blondes, both tape in and hand tied extensions as well. When I’m not busy in the salon you find me spending time with my two daughters.
Briana -independent Stylist
Briana is a talented and passionate hair artist specializing in dimensional hair color, hair shaping, styling, lashes and brows, extensions and specializing in bridal hair and makeup. With 14 years of experience in the industry, she is known for personally connecting and conducting expert service experiences for her clients as a key strength . Recently relocating to Lino Lakes, Briana is excited to bring her skills and creativity to the new community! If Briana is not behind the chair you can find her enjoying nature, exercising, spending time with her three daughters and husband, cooking nutritious meals and networking in the community!
Sarah -independent Stylist
Sarah has been in the beauty industry since 2012. She loves creating transformative looks and has a passion for color and extensions. She is certified in hand-tied, tape-in, K-tip and I-tip extensions. Sarah prioritizes continuing education and stays current with new techniques and trends. She strives to ensure every client in her chair feels confident and beautiful.

Rebecca - Esthetician
Rebecca is excited to bring her deep passion for skin health and beauty to you. She has a strong, unique foundation, having spent time working in dermatology. This background gives her an incredible knowledge base, ensuring she treats your skin with the utmost care and insight. She is especially passionate about custom facials and elevating your natural beauty with lashes. Rebecca has a specialty in tackling young adult acne, helping clients find clear, healthy skin and lasting confidence. When it comes to lashes, her focus is always on creating beautiful, effortless and natural enhancements.

Jayda - AP Esthetician
Hi, I’m Jayda, a licensed Advanced Practice Esthetician and PCI Academy graduate specializing in results-driven skincare. I’m passionate about my career and continually furthering my education to provide the best possible care for my clients. I love microneedling and combining treatments like dermaplaning and chemical peels to achieve smooth, healthy, glowing skin.
Building genuine connections with my clients is at the heart of what I do. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Earning your trust with your skin is my top priority, and every treatment is thoughtfully customized to your individual goals.
Outside of the treatment room you can usually find me barrel racing, spending time with my family, or enjoy any outdoor activity!

Cathy - Guest Services Coordinator
Cathy is the heart of Connor James Salon—our resident “salon mom” who keeps everything clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes. After 39 years in dentistry, she made a career shift and we’re so lucky she chose us. Her love for people and caring nature shines through in everything she does.
Cathy lives in Hugo with her husband and their beloved pets, and she’s a proud mother and grandmother of two. When she’s not brightening up the salon, you can find her reading, gardening, or spending time with her family.
Cassie - guest services coordinator
Hi! I'm Cassie, a mom of four who loves to indulge in thriller and rom com novels. I find solace in listening to murder podcasts and watching my go-to shows on Netflix - murder documentaries. If you don't watch RHOSLC, know of Scandoval, I'll convince you to watch and find out. Also, I am self-proclaimed, unlicensed pro-bono, private investigator. If you need info about anyone/anything, I am your girl!

Teresa is one of the friendly faces that keeps Connor James Salon running smoothly. She’s not only incredibly hardworking and detail-oriented, but she also brings a fun, lighthearted energy to the front desk that makes both our team and clients feel right at home. Whether she’s juggling appointments or making someone laugh on a busy day, Teresa is truly an irreplaceable part of our salon family.
Hatty - Salon Greeter + Certified Snuggle Expert
Hi There! I'm Hatty, a 1-year-old Goldendoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for people! You'll find me at the salon giving out tail wags, snuggles and extra comfort to everyone who walks through the door. I love getting pets, being pampered and making our guests feel relaxed and loved.
Whether you're here for a haircut or a little self-care time, I'm here to brighten your day - with a wag, a cuddle or a friendly "woof-woof!"
